March and April - Spring is here!

Wow, it was fun to remember the last couple months in pictures. Here we are in St. George for the President's Day weekend. We brought Kate's teammate, Harmoni with us and it was a ton of fun. Kate played with Forza, Audrey guest played for Sparta (which worked really well, since we were there anyway!).

Here are some pics.

Kate won her school spelling bee!! She worked hard to go to the State Bee, and she did really well there, also! She made it through 5 rounds before she got eliminated. There were around 180 school champions there, and she was in the top 40 or so of them.  Well done!!

 Graham turned 7! Here are his friends in this picture. They had a blast doing Minecraft things and playing around. It was a fun night.

 We went to Las Vegas for Audrey's soccer tournament. They played tough, and that was fun to watch. But, highlight of the trip was doing the rides at the top of the stratosphere!! Here are Audrey and teammate Savannah doing one of the rides. Crazy!

 The kids loved playing in the swimming pool in March. So fun!

 Here are Kate and friends ripstik-ing together in a chain. They all have ripstiks and blue beach cruiser bikes. Definitely a group of girls that likes the same things.

 Jr Jazz night at the Utah Jazz game. We were with both Kate's basketball team and a few of Graham's team as well.

 This was the coolest Spring Break EVER! We were in Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument. The slot canyons are unreal, the hoodoos are great, we stopped for a couple of hours in a sand dune, and just explored everything. We tried to get into the Wave twice, no luck, but we did get into South Coyote Butte, which was pretty much just as amazing!!! The only thing we lacked was more time. We had so much to do, but had to get back for soccer on Saturday!

 Happy Easter!! Here are the kids on Easter Morning. They are such good kids, and it is so fun to celebrate with them. Chad and I had to give the talks on Easter Sunday, so that was amusing, but otherwise a beautiful day.

 I love the spring flowers in my yard. I forget how pretty it looks in the spring, so it is sweet surprise every year :)

 I did a run club at our elementary everyday for 2 weeks! I was with the kids for every lunch recess and marked cards and kept track of their milestones. Many kids ran a half marathon in 8 days! So impressed!!!

Friday was the school Jog-A-Thon, and it was terrific to see all the kids that ran with me do their best. How amazing and rewarding to see hard work pay off!

 Carson's birthday party - Crazy boys at the Discovery Space Center. It was a fun party, and hilarious for us parents to watch the group geek out in space :)




Mostly, we are just soccer and track watching parents. Audrey is running Varsity Track, she won a Freshman Sophomore Invitational in both the 1600 and 800, and she is starting to specialize in the 800. Her medley team got accepted into the Davis Invitational this Saturday, what an honor, Chad is so proud to go see her run at his home school :)

We are coaching Graham's soccer, still team mom for Kate's soccer, and running Audrey around for her soccer. Carson plans on doing rec track this summer.
