October is full of friends and football

This month, we started out with a dinner with the Stouts and Timmermans. It was fun to catch up and hear how all the girls are doing. Kate Timmerman is married and having a baby. Adrianna is married and Audrey does intramurals with her at BYU.  BYU played Friday night, and won, we took Graham and Audrey. Then that weekend, we had General Conference, Audrey came for the Sunday Morning session with her friends. We hung out with them after and then decorated our house for Halloween. Super fun to be with her. Later on that Sunday, Sage and Rachel came for dinner, so Audrey came back over. Then we all got to talk to Kate. Fabulous, we were all connected!

Then, Chad and I went to Arizona for his friends' group. Here are Chad and I at the Andretti race carts.

Chad got 1st place, and his friends like to bring it up over and over. He got free desserts and drinks because they would ask the servers to honor him because of his win. Pretty funny. 

We also went to the BYU Arizona game with the whole group. We won! After 2 overtimes and a weather delay. We yelled and yelled and cheered them on. They said the BYU fans turned it into a home game, because so many Arizona fans left and BYU stayed.

I am in charge of the PTSA fundraiser this month, but I took a day away to go on a hike with Lindsey. Here we are in the "wintery" weather.

Surprisingly, the clouds parted and it was beautiful at the top. This made me so happy. We got to see Timp from Primrose Overlook. 

We saw a pretty rainbow sitting in a side canyon on the way down. It looked so pretty in real life, this doesn't do it justice.

The dogs and I hiked Alien Tower. First time there since the porcupine incident. surprisingly, I think I saw another porcupine. There was a dark small chunky looking animal that moved really slowly at the side of the trail on the way up. Bagel started to go towards him and I called Bagel back. Thankfully, I got both dogs on leashes and we let him be.

The BYU v Utah game!! We cheered hard, and yes, they won!! We are now 7-0. Got to play some hard teams still, but perfect so far. 3-0 against the Utes starting 2021. That is pretty amazing.

Chad and I are going to Japan for the end of October, I will probably do a separate post for Japan.
