January 2023 - Snow and School

 

With the snow just piling up, what else can we do but ski? I have been up at the resorts 9 times already! This is Graham and his ski friends on the Friday before MLK day. They had it off from school, and all he wanted to do is ski. We got there at 9 am and I had to drag them off the mountain at 5:30 pm. What a fun day!

Most of January has been filled with getting Audrey off to college, the kids getting back in school, me working on PTA stuff, and generally school, school, school. The hardest part was dropping Audrey off so soon after she just came home. I went to visit her the very next day. I brought stuff she needed, but that was just an excuse. 

We also have been playing a ton of board games with Rachel. That has been so fun. She got a ton of new games for Christmas, and we are having a blast getting to know them. Last week she ordered a few more, so there are more fun times ahead. Perfect stormy winter activity!

Kate has been working at Scheels and making a ton of money! She finally has enough saved up for her trip to Spain. So proud of that girl! She is playing some soccer, but mostly, she is excited for the next dance, the Sweethearts dance. She is out with friends any chance she can get. And, gets skiing in when she can as well. She loves all of the powder we have been having!
