Let me first say, we had a spectacular Halloween Day - Graham's football team won their championship game!
They are #1
Audrey (Perry the Platypus) and Kate dress up for Halloween. (Audrey doesn't go out with friends because she has a "cold")
Kate is the character from the video game "Among Us"
Graham is a football player
Then, the unfortunate news came on November 1st that Audrey had Covid. That made our entire family in quarantine, and Kate and Audrey both in isolation. Luckily, everyone but Audrey's test came back negative.
So, for the next month, our only social activities are with our own family, or socially distanced outside. The governor issues an order to limit all social gatherings as soon as our quarantine is over, and the high school goes to online only. The kids missed high school for almost the entire month, returning to school on November 30th.
Meanwhile - this is what we were up to with just us . . .
After Audrey's isolation was over, we broke out one Saturday! Carson took us all on a drive around Salt Lake Valley.
We took Bagel to the dog park for the first time that afternoon.
We were a little funny at the dog park - because there were 6 of us watching a little dog!
Our quarantine is finally over. We go to Crystal Hot Springs!
Sitting around a campfire on a Sunday afternoon.
Shooting rockets at Lone Peak Park - Our first rocket day, everyone had fun!
Bagel gets forts made for him. Kate versus Graham.
During Thanksgiving Break - we meet outside on a cold morning and do a hike with cousins.
Thanksgiving meal - just us plus Ivan and his 2 friends (Allison and Christian). We missed being with the Iverson clan, but it was still really neat!
The day after Thanksgiving was a fun day outside with cousins.
Bagel gets his first grooming. He looks so different!!! We all agree to never do that again. Owning a dog is full of surprises!
Chad gets honored at the Canyons School District Board Meeting. He is done with his (2) 4 year terms, and will not be returning in January. He is relieved, but is feeling a ton of emotions for the time he spent with the district and the board.
