Wow - March Begins Bizarro World

Usually in these blogs, I am posting about the sports and places we have gone. This time, it is a little different, because our family is all alone, and we have had to give up a lot of hopes and dreams - especially Audrey - who is a senior, and missing her last high school year of track, prom, chalk the walk, and so much more.
Everything is divided into pre- Corona virus shut down and after. This is the only picture I have of before. Carson is performing with his band at a music festival at the UofU.

The last Saturday of normalcy - the oldest kids and Chad and I went to the temple. It was a beautiful calm day there. What a wonderful experience to remember now.
Here we are on a hike - to the Rocky Mouth Waterfall. We have been doing plenty of that to keep sane.
Playing spike ball - Graham is actually really good at this, a hidden talent.
Hammock-ing?
 Hike in Little Cottonwood Canyon
 Audrey and Kate
 Campfire and s'mores
Kate doing sprints instead of her soccer opening day.
 Tree of Utah
 Exploring the salt flats

 Remote control car
 Biking

Playing games together.

Most days, we do homework in the morning, have lunch together, and then do activities in the afternoon. I am trying to keep Graham off the TV until at least 4 pm. I try to get all of my stuff done before 9 am, and then work with him and sometimes Carson. The activities with at least Graham have been hikes, basketball, lacrosse, planting a garden, putting in stepping stones at our gate, spike ball, "tennis", remote control car, games, puzzle, shopping for new toys, and creative games we just made up with Graham's EZroller. Kate has gone on a bike ride with friends and kicked a soccer ball around with friends. Mostly, no friends have been allowed. Audrey has gotten together a little outside with friends. The girls also did huge projects like a candy bags/cards left when they door bell ditched their friends, painting, and such. Carson was sick all last week, so it is good to see him coming around a little more now. Church has been really neat with Chad and Carson administering the sacrament.
