This is a set of three slot canyons off of the Harris Wash. These were fun for everyone, and we ended up going about 8 miles this day because no one wanted to stop exploring!
This is the Neon Canyon. We arrived in Neon Canyon after crossing overland for about 3 miles and then doing three Escalante River crossings. It was a lot of work, but very beautiful!!
This is the Golden Cathedral, our stopping place. The technical canyoneering folks are repelling down from the lower hole after exploring the upper Neon Canyon. Pretty cool!
We did make it to Bryce. It was sunny and nice. We did the Peek-A-Boo Loop and connected over to Queens Garden. The Navajo Loop was still closed while we were there, bummer, but at least there was no snow!
This is the view from Inspiration Point.
Enjoying a night camping :)
This is what Bryce Canyon looked like on Memorial Day!!!
We came back to Inspiration Point to see what it looked like in snow, Very pretty, what a difference a day makes!
Now back to normal life . . .
Here is Kate guest playing for the UCSC Rush team.
Here is Carson doing a number for the final Percussion Ensemble performance of the year. They are doing a piece called Diner's Club. It was very entertaining. They used things found in a kitchen. When the piece was over, the "Diners" all received a pie in the face. Very funny!
